1. Do I need to have experience?

No- No prior pole experience is required. Everyone starts from the bottom.

 

2. Do I need to be "skinny"? 

No- Most of the ladies that attend have been inactive for a while and are jump starting their new healthy lifestyle with P.E. Tyler.

 

3. What is the weight limit?

There isn't one!!! :)

 

4. Do I have to wear heels?

No- You can choose to wear heels or not. Most ladies do not wear them. Socks or barefoot is just fine.

 

5. Do I have to wear short shorts?

No- You can wear yoga pants or any other workout bottoms. However, the more skin that touches the pole the better the grip. You can wear something that can pull up until you are comfortable to wear shorts. Note that it is extremely hard and unsafe to climb in pants. 

 

6. Is poling for strippers? Will people think I am?

No- Poling is a beautiful art and sport that challenges the whole body. Strippers take their clothes off, seduce strangers, and earn tips... we do not. If they happen to think so then it is their problem. You have to live for yourself not others! :)

 

7. Are the poles secure?

Yes- The poles are double bolted to metal beams in the ceiling and through concrete in the floor.

 

8. Can I try it out once?

Yes- You can take Pole 101 or schedule a private lesson.

 

9. Do I have to be sexy?

No- You can choose the amount of sexiness you want to project. Some ladies do a lot of body swaying and rolling and others do not.

 

10. Do I need to know how to dance?

No- We learn a few moves. Just have fun! The beauty about poling is that you can be all trick, all spin, all floorwork, all dance, or all the above. Whatever makes you feel gorg!

 

11. Do I have to join or be a member?

No- You can start with Pole 101 to try it out. It cost $20.00 for a hour.
